Free Community Art Therapy Groups
In the wake of the recent tragedy in our community, I am offering free art therapy support groups for anyone affected. Whether you were present that day or have been struggling since hearing the news, you are welcome here.
These groups offer a safe and supportive space to gently process the effects of trauma through creative expression, connection, and healing. Art-making is used as a tool for reflection and release. No art experience is needed: come as you are, all are welcome.
I will be offering two separate groups: one for children and teens, and one for adults. Each session will last about 60 minutes and center around a theme that supports healing, connection, and gentle trauma processing.
If you’re interested in joining, please complete the inquiry form with your name, age, preferred group, email address, and phone number. I’ll reach out shortly to welcome you and provide all the information you need.

What is Art Therapy?
Art therapy is a type of psychotherapy that uses creative expression (like drawing, painting, or sculpting) to explore feelings, reduce stress, and support healing. No art skills or experience are needed.
How it helps after trauma:
After a traumatic event, it can be hard to put feelings into words. Art therapy offers a safe, nonverbal way to process emotions, release tension, and regain a sense of control. Creating art can help calm the mind and body, build resilience, and foster connection with others who are also healing.
